“When I started building The Avena Edit, I was thinking about my fellow Studio owners just as much as the women who would discover them. As a Studio owner myself, I watched what coupon companies did to people in my industry — margins cut to nothing, clients trained to chase the deepest discount, Studios burning out fulfilling deals they couldn't afford to honor.
We needed a way to put our work in front of new people — a little taste of what we do — without becoming another coupon company. So I built the opposite.

What is The Avena Edit?+
A subscription to The Avena Edit — a curated weekly publication of hand-picked Studio Edits from local Studios. One Editor subscription unlocks Drops to spend, Sealed Keys to claim, and Aria to guide. Up to 30% back on every Edit Key.
What is an Avena Key?+
A sealed Studio Edit you claim with your Drops at a specific Avena Flow Studio. Sealed Keys are refundable within 24 hours and transferable to a friend. Reveal yours when you're ready to book — once revealed, it's yours.
What is the Editor's Bonus?+
Every Sealed Key holds a surprise. The moment you reveal, you spin for bonus Drops that go straight to your wallet — to spend on your next Key. Some Keys even carry a Gilded Drop, our rarest reward. One rule: bonus Drops settle once you book the appointment for the Key that earned them. If you don't book within 30 days of reveal, the bonus is clawed back along with the original Drops — this keeps the bonus a real reward for using The Edit, not a wheel-spin freebie.
How are the Studios chosen?+
Curated by The Avena House — our editorial team, led by an active esthetician and Studio owner. Every Studio in The Edit has been vetted, reviewed, and trusted. The work earns the slot — no mass listings, no auctions. If a Studio doesn't make the Edit, they don't appear.
What if I don't use my Key in time?+
Sealed Keys can be transferred to a friend or refunded within 24 hours. Once you reveal your Key, you have 30 days to book your appointment in your Studio's eligible slots. Studios rotate every Vol., so reveal when you're ready to commit. If life gets in the way after reveal, your Drops return to your wallet.
What happens to Drops I don't use?+
Your monthly Drops roll over once — if you don't spend this month's, they're added to next month's balance. If you still haven't used them by the end of that second month, they expire. Top-up Drops (bought separately) follow the same rule. We send you a reminder before any Drops are about to expire.
Can I book any time slot at the Studio?+
Each Studio sets their own Edit availability — typically mid-week days (Mon–Thu), and most Studios exclude weekends and prime-time slots (Friday evenings, Saturdays) to protect their full-price bookings. You'll see only the slots eligible for your Sealed Key when you book. Studios reserve their highest-demand windows for full-price clients.
When does Vol. 001 launch?+
Vol. 001 — the Founding Issue — drops as soon as we have enough hand-picked Studios curated in each city. Founding Studios are applying nationwide right now. Join the waitlist to be first when your city opens.
